"Thanks for everything! You have kept me going when I wanted to quit. Thanks to you our daughter will be in school this year!"--Cheryl
PAT IS THE BEST IN HER FIELD!
Without Pat's help my children would not have received the assistance they needed to reach all of their academic potential. Pat's step by step instructions to me on how to begin the CSE process was a vital part, as well as follow-up instruction. Pat's presence at my children's Initial CSE review was more than a vital part, it was Essential. Her knowledge and ability to work with the CSE team, as well as, continually pointing out the consistent learning disability across my child's academics was one of the vital parts for my child to receive the assistant she needed to reach her maximum academic potential. Without this constant acknowledgement from Pat, I am sure that the school administration would have found an out not to classify my child's learning disability and she would have dropped out of school because of the difficulties she was having in her academics. As a direct result of Pat's insight my daughter graduated with her class, and my son received everything he needed to be at grade level very early on. I still rely on Pat's insight and guidance. Pat is the best in her field, when you sit next to her and watch her work her magic you will soon come to realize that your child's education is in safe, caring hands, and you will feel that helplessness, and sometimes hopelessness we feel as parents because we cannot help our child, this feeling will be lifted knowing you are doing the right thing for your child. I believe that this is the work Pat was born to do, to guide parents through this tedious process of our child's disabilities through the schools administrations.

Pat Exman is fabulous - she's very bright and very creative. She is the premier advocate - best I've ever known. She knows enough about Lyme to be an effective advocate for kids with Lyme, and she very much appreciates how bad it can get, and what the kids need. She also knows that I'm available to her, if she has questions on Lyme.
She's all about strategizing. She gives parents a lot of work to do, doesn't do it for them, realizes that she cannot. It's the parents who have the law on their side, not the advocate.
It would be nice if she eventually trains others, to do what she does, in other geographic locations.
